Congratulations Shane
We would like to say a huge
congratulations to Shane White.
Shane was nominated by the club for a Tennis SA Award in
The Volunteer of the Year (Metropolitan) category.
At the awards night at the Hyatt on Friday 18th April
he was named winner of the category.

Night tennis
Kay Digby has taken on
the role of night tennis co-ordinator,
So if you are a parent of a junior who would like to keep
up with the kids? Or if you haven’t played for awhile
and want to get back into it. Or just want to play social
tennis. Here’s your chance! Men and women are always
welcome to Wednesday night tennis competition. Contact Kay

Rec & sport grant
The club has been successful in obtaining
$10,000 in the Active Club Grant from Rec & Sport. This
will go towards resurfacing courts 1&2 and 5&6,
stage 1 of the club’s program for court upgrades.
The club will need to contribute an equivalent dollar amount
to complete this project. Stage 2 will be to resurface the
courts at Karrara. Another grant application will be submitted
in the next available round to assist the club with the
costs.
